Vok Beverages acquires iconic South Australian Winery

Vok Beverages is pleased to announce the acquisition of the Step Rd Winery situated in the Langhorne Creek region of South Australia. Other assets in the sale include the multi award winning wines of Step Road, Beresford, Katherine Hills, Trig Point and Crystal Brook.
Vok Beverages was established on 2002 as an independently owned and operated alcoholic beverage company based in South Australia. Today Vok Beverages owns an impressive portfolio of brands across the Spirits and Ready to Drink category such as Vickers Gin, Rebellion Bay Spiced Rum, Bearded Lady Bourbon, Three Oaks Cider, Infused Rush Vodka, VOK Liqueurs, Vok Cocktails, Real McCoy Bourbon, Black Bottle & XO Brandy. Vok Beverages also distributes a world class wine portfolio of brands including Andrew Garrett, Queen Adelaide, Minchinbury and Half Mile Creek.
Step Rd General Manager Vicki Greaves says she is delighted with Vok’s purchase of the business, by its keenness to invest in the winery, to fully utilise its capabilities, and by its stated resolve to use the best wines from Adelaide Hills, McLaren Vale, Langhorne Creek and Riverland in its planned new product development and expansion.
Chris Illman, Vok Beverages Marketing Manager confirmed that it will be ‘business as usual’ while existing trading relationships, customer service and market needs would be maintained and extended into the future. Mr Illman also went onto say “This acquisition is another step towards Vok delivering our company goal of becoming one of Australia’s largest privately owned beverage businesses through building outstanding brands, innovation, premiumisation and maintaining close relationships with our customers.
